@nick_ward’s Chelsea
@nick_ward took Chelsea back to the summer of 2009 with City’s £900m and came out with 17 major trophies. The real Chelsea won nine in the same nine seasons.
They spent £883m of the budget on 31 players.
Three of their titles came in a season City really won.
They built in stages, spending £46.5m in 2009 and the rest over the summers that followed.
The biggest fees: Dele Alli (£111.5m, 2016), Raheem Sterling (£65m, 2014) and Kevin De Bruyne (£64.5m, 2016).
They were champions eight times: 2009/10, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18.
