@henry_jones’s Man United
@henry_jones took Manchester United back to the summer of 2009 with City’s £900m and came out with 18 major trophies. The real Man United won six in the same nine seasons.
They spent £680m of the budget on 26 players.
Two of their titles came in a season City really won.
They built in stages, spending £103.5m in 2009 and the rest over the summers that followed.
The biggest fees: Christian Eriksen (£94m, 2017), Sergio Agüero (£39.5m, 2011) and Samir Nasri (£35m, 2009).
They were champions eight times: 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17.
