@gw1991’s Aston Villa
@gw1991 took Aston Villa back to the summer of 2009 with City’s £900m and came out with 18 major trophies. The real Aston Villa won none in the same nine seasons.
They spent £894.5m of the budget on 40 players.
Three of their titles came in a season City really won.
They built in stages, spending £293m in 2009 and the rest over the summers that followed.
The biggest fees: Eden Hazard (£80.5m, 2013), Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m, 2009) and Wayne Rooney (£72m, 2009).
They were champions nine times: 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18.
The best season was 2010/11, winning the league, the League Cup and the Champions League.
