@owenblearslane’s Liverpool
@owenblearslane took Liverpool back to the summer of 2009 with City’s £900m and came out with 19 major trophies. The real Liverpool won one in the same nine seasons.
They spent £835m of the budget on 30 players.
Three of their titles came in a season City really won.
They built in stages, spending £248.5m in 2009 and the rest over the summers that followed.
The biggest fees: Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m, 2009), Kevin De Bruyne (£55m, 2015) and Yaya Touré (£49.5m, 2011).
They were champions nine times: 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18.
The best season was 2016/17, winning the league, the FA Cup and the Champions League.
