@lee_fc’s Liverpool

17 £785m 33 signings

@lee_fc took Liverpool back to the summer of 2009 with City’s £900m and came out with 17 major trophies. The real Liverpool won one in the same nine seasons. They spent £785m of the budget on 33 players. Two of their titles came in a season City really won.

The first summer did most of the work: £510m in 2009, 65% of everything they spent. The biggest fees: Eden Hazard (£80.5m, 2013), Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m, 2009) and Wayne Rooney (£72m, 2009).

They were champions eight times: 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17. The best season was 2014/15, winning the league, the League Cup and the Champions League.
