@nathanmarks’s Arsenal
@nathanmarks took Arsenal back to the summer of 2009 with City’s £900m and came out with 18 major trophies. The real Arsenal won three in the same nine seasons.
They spent £885m of the budget on 32 players.
Three of their titles came in a season City really won.
They built in stages, spending £253m in 2009 and the rest over the summers that followed.
The biggest fees: Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m, 2009), Wayne Rooney (£72m, 2009) and Christian Eriksen (£69m, 2015).
They were champions seven times: 2010/11, 2011/12, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18.
The best season was 2017/18, winning the league, the FA Cup and the League Cup.
