@boom’s Man United

17 £895m 38 signings

@boom took Manchester United back to the summer of 2009 with City’s £900m and came out with 17 major trophies. The real Man United won six in the same nine seasons. They spent £895m of the budget on 38 players. Three of their titles came in a season City really won.

They built in stages, spending £234m in 2009 and the rest over the summers that followed. The biggest fees: Dele Alli (£111.5m, 2016), Christian Eriksen (£94m, 2017) and Son Heung-min (£91.5m, 2017).

They were champions eight times: 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18.
