@george582’s Man United
@george582 took Manchester United back to the summer of 2009 with City’s £900m and came out with 18 major trophies. The real Man United won six in the same nine seasons.
They spent £710.5m of the budget on 36 players.
Three of their titles came in a season City really won.
They built in stages, spending £110m in 2009 and the rest over the summers that followed.
The biggest fees: Kevin De Bruyne (£89m, 2017), Benjamin Mendy (£52m, 2017) and Luis Suárez (£44m, 2013).
They were champions nine times: 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18.
The best season was 2016/17, winning the league, the League Cup and the Champions League.
