@eddiejames’s West Ham

17 £715.5m 40 signings

@eddiejames took West Ham United back to the summer of 2009 with City’s £900m and came out with 17 major trophies. The real West Ham won none in the same nine seasons. They spent £715.5m of the budget on 40 players. Three of their titles came in a season City really won.

The first summer did most of the work: £359.5m in 2009, 50% of everything they spent. The biggest fees: Dele Alli (£111.5m, 2016), Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m, 2009) and Wayne Rooney (£72m, 2009).

They were champions nine times: 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18. The best season was 2014/15, winning the league, the FA Cup and the League Cup.
